Technical Design Consultant (Architectural/Joinery)
We are seeking a Technical Design Consultant with an architectural or technical design background to join our growing team. This role is ideally suited to an Architectural Technician, Architect, or Furniture Designer who enjoys the practical and technical side of design and wants to see projects move efficiently from concept to manufacture. The successful candidate will act as the link between client, design, and production — ensuring projects are technically resolved, commercially viable, and delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise directly with architects, private clients, and contractors to develop practical joinery solutions.
- Carry out detailed site surveys and technical measurements, primarily for kitchens and staircases.
- Translate client requirements into accurate technical drawings and manufacturing-ready information.
- Assist in the ongoing development and refinement of standardised product systems.
- Coordinate project handovers to the production team to ensure efficient and error-free manufacturing.
- Manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle with a solutions-focused approach.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Furniture Design, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of technical detailing and construction principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and ability to work confidently with 2D and 3D drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- An interest in timber construction, joinery detailing, and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.

CNC Technician
This is a hands-on role responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality timber components and bespoke joinery items. The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment. The suitable candidate for this position will be joining our enthusiastic and hard-working team, based out of the beautiful and vibrant town of Kenmare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery to manufacture components to exact specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, production schedules, and cutting lists.
- Select correct tooling, materials, and machine settings for each job.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure finished components meet required standards.
- Adjust machine programmes or settings where necessary to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with the production, design, and joinery teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.
- Minimise material waste and support efficient use of resources.
- Record production data and report faults, defects, or issues promptly.
- Write parametric programmes.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery, ideally within carpentry, joinery, woodwork, or manufacturing.
- Good understanding of CNC setup, tooling, and machine operation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work from cutting lists or CAD/CAM outputs.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage workload in a busy workshop environment.
- Awareness of health and safety practices in a manufacturing or workshop setting.
- Basic maintenance and fault-finding skills are desirable.
- Experience in carpentry or joinery is highly advantageous.

Furniture & Joinery Fitter
We’re looking for an experienced Site Fitter to join our growing, progressive team delivering high-end bespoke furniture, kitchens, and architectural joinery projects across Cork and Kerry. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys problem-solving on site, and can work closely with clients, trades, and our workshop team to bring exceptional projects to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret manufacturing and technical drawings
- Install bespoke furniture, kitchens, and joinery to a high standard
- Coordinate and plan installations on site
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and trades
- Complete snagging and final finishing works
- Support the workshop team when required
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience fitting bespoke furniture and joinery
- Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Full clean driving licence
- Ideally based in South Kerry, within reasonable travel distance of Cork or Kerry
- Be physically fit and highly motivated
- Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Safe Pass, Manual Handling and Abrasive Wheel training are mandatory
- Be fluent in English both verbal and written
