We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Design & Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will manage bespoke furniture projects from initial client consultation through to manufacture and installation, ensuring all designs meet client requirements and can be efficiently produced.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to establish requirements, complete project questionnaires, and prepare quotations from enquiry to installation.
• Produce specifications, concept drawings, and renders for client approval.
• Design bespoke furniture projects in SWOOD/SolidWorks.
• Manage design revisions and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create detailed manufacturing packs, CNC nests, cut lists, hardware schedules, and material requirements for production.
• Prepare accurate installation drawings and coordinate project information with fitters, site trades and manufacturing staff.
• Support installation teams and resolve any design or manufacturing issues that arise in workshop or on site.
• Maintain and improve the company’s SWOOD block library, design systems, and workflows.
• Keep up to date with training and train team members in new features of SWOOD, SolidWorks and company processes.
• Participate in project and production meetings while continually seeking opportunities to improve systems and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong experience in SolidWorks and SWOOD.
• An understanding of kitchen and fitted furniture design and construction.
• Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong technical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients.
• A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of projects.
• An understanding of how technical design decisions affect manufacturing, CNC production and installation.

The interview process will include a practical parametric modelling exercise based around a kitchen or fitted furniture component. You’ll be asked to demonstrate how you approach the modelling process and how you would develop a component so that it can be adapted and reused across multiple projects.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the selection and preparation of timber for high-quality timber components and bespoke joinery items. The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment. The suitable candidate for this position will be joining our enthusiastic and hard-working team, based out of the beautiful and vibrant town of Kenmare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Select appropriate timber stock
• Operate woodworking machinery and tools as needed (training provided)
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including correct manual handling techniques
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient timber storage and prep area.
• Support general workshop duties, including assistance in assembly and finishing as required

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess timber quality visually and by touch
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving timber safely.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage workload in a busy workshop environment.
• Awareness of health and safety practices in a manufacturing or workshop setting.
• Experience in carpentry or joinery is highly advantageous.

We’re looking for an experienced Site Fitter to join our growing, progressive team delivering high-end bespoke furniture, kitchens, and architectural joinery projects across Cork and Kerry. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys problem-solving on site, and can work closely with clients, trades, and our workshop team to bring exceptional projects to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret manufacturing and technical drawings
• Install bespoke furniture, kitchens, and joinery to a high standard
• Coordinate and plan installations on site
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and trades
• Complete snagging and final finishing works
• Support the workshop team when required

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience fitting bespoke furniture and joinery
• Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Full clean driving licence
• Ideally based in South Kerry, within reasonable travel distance of Cork or Kerry
• Be physically fit and highly motivated
• Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Safe Pass, Manual Handling and Abrasive Wheel training are mandatory
• Be fluent in English both verbal and written
