Holbein Carpentry & Joinery did a fantastic job from the design process to the very end. We had book shelving in hallway, tv unit in living room with storage underneath for firewood as well as wardrobes upstairs fitted.

Everything was done and finished over two days. There was minimal disruption in the house and the place was left in immaculate condition both days-after day 1 and when job was finished.

The quality of the finish and the craftsmanship is fantastic and many people have remarked on this since.

I cannot recommend Holbein Carpentry enough. Our job was for 2 sets of somewhat specific and unique doors and they were just exactly what we expected and hoped for. From the design and planning stages right through to installation Oliver and his team were excellent. Starting with Jeff in the office to Jethro who installed the were friendly and professional and extremely punctual.

The Holbeins are great. We had very specific and slightly unusual requirements. They listened carefully to what we wanted, made practical, useful suggestions and then came and did the job promptly and professionally. They left the place neat, clean and dust free. Holbein Carpentry & Joinery did my kitchen and pantry. The quality was excellent. It is the most important element. You could have a great kitchen design that works practically but if the quality is not there, then the lifetime of the kitchen can be compromised. Materials used were high quality, front of presses were free of imperfections, no sanding marks, knots or colour or grain irregularities. Hinge systems and drawer runners, all perfect.

The team were reliable and competent, each good at what they did, having the skills and knowledge that enabled them to do their job well. They were very reliable, showing up on time and work was finished on time. They listened and explained. They went through all aspects of the design and explained thoroughly beforehand. In our recent project, Edit Design Studio designed a kitchen; utility/boot room; and other fitted joinery including a desk, headboard and wardrobes for a luxury holiday home in Kenmare. Michael, who works closely with Oliver, provided all the working drawings for approval, a selection of finishes and specified materials for the fitted joinery, and once all was signed off, the manufacturing began. Everything was done on schedule and to the highest standard. The fitting team was fast, efficient and very tidy. Our client was very happy with the end result as were we.
